Day Lily is a special little girl. She
started in this world with a dramatic entrance. She
was born against the stall door, and she got her leg caught,
in seconds she was injured with a large surface injury to
her leg. Just skin deep, but enough to give her the
barn name "Boo Boo". Since then she has been one of our
favorites, getting lots of attention and love. She has
healed very well and is in perfect condition except for a
crescent shaped scar at the top of her leg. We expect her
scar to improve with age and be a minor blemish.
That being said, this filly is a real beauty!
She is a feminine little filly with a stretchy neck, nice presence and
movement. We plan to have her join our show string as
a 3 year old driver and eventually join our breeding mares
after her show career is completed.
She is a daughter of one of our show mares,
Bella, and her sire is our show stallion Menagerie's Absolute
Chaos who is a Two Time Res. NATIONAL CHAMPION DRIVING
Stallion and who has earned multiple NATIONAL TOP TENS as
well!
Day Lily was DNA tested,
and is positive for the Overo Gene... so she can produce the
much sought after Overo coloring when bred ! ! !
